The Manatee County Port Authority (herein after referred to as the "Port Authority") is a political entity organized and existing under the laws of the State of Florida and has control of and jurisdiction over Port Manatee facilities, owned and operated by the Manatee County Port Authority. The Port Authority has the power to fix and regulate charges for the use of the facilities and to enact and enforce rules and regulations governing the use of the facilities.
The administration, operation and maintenance of Port Manatee is under the direct supervision of the Executive Director appointed by said Port Authority.
